Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister on Wednesday flew to New Delhi on a one day visit to meet foreign envoys and seek their presence at the upcoming ‘Make in Odisha’ Conclave from November 30 to December 2 which will held at Janata Maidan here.
CM will seek cooperation from ambassadors to invite investors from their countries so as to make the event a global eye catcher. As part of that programme, earlier CM had also asked Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to grace the occasion as the chief guest.
‘Make in Odisha’ is an ambitious initiative by the State Government quite similar in module to the Union Government’s ‘Make in India’ programme aimed at enabling the state a self sufficiency.
The major objective behind the initiative is to create jobs and enhance skill while attracting capital and technological investment to the state.
