Odia boy punches his way to fame in Guinness World Records
Bhubaneswar: Odia boy Satyapira Pradhan on Tuesday claimed to have registered his name in Guinness World Records for delivering most maximum number of punches with one hand in one minute.
The record was previously held by Pakistan’s Muhammad Rashid, who had displayed his prowess in Karachi on October 22 last year.
Satyapira, a physiotherapy student at a city-based medical college, punched 393 times with one hand in a minute surpassing 377 full punches struck by Pakistani martial arts student. The boy is now waiting for confirmation from the Guinness World Records.
As per the guidelines, two eyewitnesses, two time keepers and one punch pad keeper are required to be present at the event. The one minute video is to be submitted to the Guinness World records.
