Bhubaneswar: Ending speculations regarding their meeting and discussion, sources from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s office today confirmed that he will be meeting the visiting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Mamata, the TMC party chief, is on a three day visit to the state. While she had met Naveen at the Central Hall of the Parliament last week, there was speculation regarding the meeting of the two neighbouring CMs during Mamata’s visit. However, both leaders had said nothing had been decided about their meeting.
Today however, it was confirmed that Naveen and Mamata will be meeting at Naveen Niwas at 4 pm in the afternoon. While BJP leaders allege that BJD and TMC is joining hands to protect their leaders involved in chit fund scams, bath leaders have said the allegations are baseless.
