Bhubaneswar: A day after snubbed by BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for making derogatory remarks against certain party colleagues, MP Tathagata Satpathy on Friday expressed his apology.
“Regret shooting my mouth & hurting sentiments. Will try to improve my characteristic flaw,” Tathagata tweeted.

The Dhenkanal MP, while addressing a public meeting at Hindol under his constituency on Wednesday, mounted a blistering attack on certain BJD leaders, who were recently dropped from the ministry, calling them thieves.
Upset over the remarks, Debi, one of the 10 ministers recently dropped from the ministry, apprised the chief minister of the remark following which Naveen sought an explanation from Tathagata.
Meanwhile, Tathagata’s remark has not gone down well with many leaders in the party as a section of leaders demanded action against him for such irresponsible statements.
