Bhubaneswar: Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Bannerjee will be reaching Odisha on Tuesday. She will reach Bhubaneswar tomorrow for her three day visit.
Mamata is expected to meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during her stay in the city. She will, however, visit Puri to pay a visit to Lord Jagannath as soon as she reached Odisha on Tuesday. The TMC chief is visiting Odisha on private work, informed TMC state president Aryakumar Gyanendra. She will be leaving on Thursday.
Last week during Naveen’s New Delhi visit, he had met Mamata at the Central Hall in the Parliament. This was discussed in the media since the President election is coming up. While it was believed the discussion was regarding floating a Presidential candidate against BJP’s NDA, both leaders had said it was just a courtesy meeting.
Now that Mamata is visiting to Odisha within a week, political speculation has come alive again.
