Bhubaneswar: Following the cyclonic storm Kyant another low pressure system is developing over South- East Bay of Bengal nearby Andaman which is likely to trigger rains in state from November 4, the local weather office here informed on Tuesday.
Since the system is far away from the coast it is very difficult to access the likely impact. A clearer picture could emerge in one to two days, sources said.
Fishermen are advised not to venture out into sea since windy conditions would be prevalent on and off the coast, the office said.
Earlier last weekend a similar such low pressure turned into a deep depression and further into a cyclonic storm ‘Kyant’ which eventually dissipated without inflicting much damage save only rainfall and stormy conditions. It gradually disappeared up along the Andhra without hitting the state coast.
