Land grab case: FIR against Robert Vadra, Ex-Haryana CM
New Delhi: A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s brother-in-law Robert Vadra and former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in connection with a land deal in Gurgaon in 2008.
The FIR has been registered in Kherki Daula police station of Haryana following the complaint of Surendra Sharma, a resident of Mewat.
In the FIR it was alleged that Sky Light Hospitality, the company owns by Vadra, purchased land in Gurgaon’s Sector 83, Shikhopur, Sikandarpur, Khedki Daula and Sihi for Rs 7.5 crore and then sold them back for Rs 55 crore after changing its land holdings.
On the other hand, Vadra denied the charges and said it was an attempt to divert attention in the election season.
