Bhubaneswar: Some parts of Odisha may receive thunderstorm in coming 48 hours. The Meteorological Department has forecasted a ‘Kalabaisakhi’ storm.
The forecast has been made by the Department after observing the growth in moisture density and temperature fluctuation in the atmosphere. The capital city will also be experiencing these sudden showers and hence it is advisable to be ready for the short stormy downpour.
Towns like Sonepur, Titlagarh, Bolangir, Hirakud, Angul and Bhubaneswar have the maximum temperature of 350C already whereas the maximum temperature reaches 36.60C in Malkangiri even before the onset of summer season that should start in March.
