Bhubaneswar: Delhi-based Heritage – a nonprofit charitable cultural society, Institute for Promotion and Research on Odisha Culture (IPROCH) and and Odisha-based charitable organization ODIART organised a ‘Heritage Walk’ in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The event was flagged off by Sri Prasanna Kumar Das, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Govt of India in the presence of the Secretary Culture Sri Manoranjan Panigrahi & many other dignitaries.
Sangram Dhar , Secretary of IPROCH said the main aim of the program is to spread awareness on Odisha heritage.
Nearly 300 school children and 200 volunteers, college students joined the Heritage walk sporting eco-friendly awareness banners.
This walk is to promote Odisha heritage at international level increase awareness level in Odisha. We are inviting school children, NCC, NYK, NSS volunteers as well as children living in slums to participate.
Many organizations like Tourism & Culture Ministry , Odisha Museum, BMC,Sundar Odisha , Bakul Foundation, Parichaya Foundation ,Odisha Diary all participated in the walk.
