New Delhi: Spread over about 800 acres, the headquarters of the controversial cult sect houses luxury hotel and resort complete with a “Skybar”, replicas of Eiffel Tower, Taj Mahal and Disney Palace, a cinema hall, shopping complex, food court, an “International School and hostel, hospital, ayurvedic pharmacy and guards at key locations – Dera Sacha Sauda’s headquarters in Haryana, on the outskirts of Sirsa.
Every building is decorated with hoardings carrying pictures of its chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, who took over as its chief in 1990, according to reports.

The Haryana government has got a nod from the Punjab and Haryana High Court to conduct a search inside the Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters which according to eyewitnesses will be a mere eyewash as it is being conducted nearly a week after the Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was jailed for 20 years on August 28 for raping two female disciples.
