Indian women compound archery team in finals

Jakarta: Indian women compound archery team stormed into the final by defeating Chinese Taipei by 225-222 points in the ongoing Asian Games here on Sunday. With this the Indian for the first time made it to the final.

The team comprising of Muskan Kirar, Madhumita Kumari and Jyoti Vennam won over Chinese Taipei and will meet South Korea in final scheduled for August 28.

The Indian team entered the semi-finals after they defeated hosts Indonesia with 239-224 scoreline.
