The incident was the fallout of a past enmity between the IIC and Bisoi. As the maize field of Bisoi had blocked the road to the nearby plot that belonged to Raiguru’s father-in-law, the IIC had earlier threatened him to remove the barricade on the encroached land.

The incident was the fallout of a past enmity between the IIC and Bisoi. As the maize field of Bisoi had blocked the road to the nearby plot that belonged to Raiguru’s father-in-law, the IIC had earlier threatened him to remove the barricade on the encroached land.

However, Bisoi did not pay heed to his threatening, following which the IIC arrived at the spot with some staff in a police vehicle and reportedly ran over the crop.

Maize crop cultivated on around 30-40 decimal land was completely destroyed during the unscrupulous incident.
Even though the whole episode was caught on a mobile camera, the IIC had denied the allegation.

After the video footage of the whole incident came to limelight, as an immediate action the IIC was transferred to police headquarters.

Umerkote SDPO had directed for a probe following which the IIC was suspended today.
