Mumbai: Popular comedian and actor Kapil Sharma has landed in trouble once again. An FIR has been lodged on Wednesday against the actor for destroying mangroves in Versova, Mumbai.
The FIR has been lodged under Environment protection act and MRTP act against him.
The comedian allegedly had dumped debris near mangroves behind his bungalow in suburban Versova and was conducting illegal construction near the site.
Earlier this year, he had kicked up a controversy when he alleged that he was asked to pay a bribe of Rs 5 lakh by the Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC). The BMC had countered him by stating that the Versova office belonging to Sharma was illegally constructed.
