New Delhi: Mild tremors were felt in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) after an earthquake hit Haryana on Sunday afternoon.
The earthquake struck at around 4.37 pm. The epicentre of the earthquake, measuring 3.8 magnitude on the Richter scale, was at Haryana’s Jhajjar district. No major consequences were reported.
According to sources, the tremors were felt in Sonipat, Jhajjar, Rohtak and Narnaul. The panic-stricken people ran out of their house after feeling the tremors.
