Dilip Kumar’s kidney affected, actor shifted to ICU
New Delhi: Veteran actor Dilip Kumar’s health has not been in the good shape of late. The megastar was on Wednesday admitted to hospital after he complained of dehydration.
However, his wife and veteran actress Saira Banu said that he is fine and is stable as of this morning.
But it has now come to light that Dilip Kumar has been shifted to ICU after his creatinine levels in blood started rising.
As per sources, the thespian suffers from kidney ailment and dehydration. He is admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital at present.
The renowned actor, whose real name is Mohammad Yusuf Khan, has acted in several superhit films during his six- decade long career such as ‘Madhumati’, ‘Devdas’, ‘Mughal-e- Azam’, ‘Ganga Jamuna’, ‘Ram Aur Shyam’ and ‘Karma’.
He was last seen on-screen in the 1998 film ‘Qila’. The veteran actor was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest award in cinema, in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second-highest civilian award, in 2015.
