DGP reviews anti-Naxal operations in Koraput
Koraput: Odisha DGP RP Sharma today reviewed anti-Naxal operations in Koraput district at a meeting held in SP headquarters.
Attending the meeting Sharma said the encounter in Narayanpatna of Koraput district in which four women Maoists were killed is a major achievement for the police since the Sunki landmine blast.
The higher police officials including South Western Range DIG S Shyni, ADG (Operations) RP Koche and Director Intelligence Sunil Roy discussed steps to strengthen intelligence network in the area.
“The night operation on March 25 is not only a major successful operation for Koraput police but an achievement in anti-Maoist operations of Odisha Police after many years,” said the DGP.
