People across the state jostled with hassle while dealing with the sudden demonetization and its after impacts early on Thursday.Similar scenes were also seen in city here with main branches of SBI, Axis Bank, ICICI, and RBI branch.
After a day of country wide financial shutdown including disruption of banking businesses, transactions people beelined in front of banks all over the nation to collect new Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes in place of old reject ones.
Customers fill up forms with details and furnish IDs to get back their share of notes by exchanging the old reject denomination of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 for newly issued Rs. 500 and Rs. 2000 in RBI.
New notes of Rs. 2000 and older denominations of Rs. 500/ 1000.
