Ganjam: At least 32 fishermen who were stranded in the sea due to cyclone Titli were rescued by coast guards and Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) team near Gopalpur coast in Ganjam district on Thursday.
In the first instance, nearly 27 fishermen who ventured into the sea in three boats four days back were stranded in the sea under the impact of cyclone Titli while 5 others were stranded after their boat capsized in the sea.
Acting swiftly, the ODRAF and Coast Guard team carried a rescue operation and rescued the fishermen near the Gopalpur port.
