Bhubaneswar: The November month end is very crucial for the industrial and entrepreneurial sector of state as prestigious National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) is conducting its three day executive council meet here till November 29 which will be followed by one day conclave on Make in Odisha.
The council meet organised by E & T department is likely to be graced by executive officers of all reputed and branded IT firms in the country like Infosys, TCS, IBM, Genpact, Mind tree, ITC Infotech, Wipro, Hexaware dell besides NASSCOM President R Chandrasekhar and Chairman C P Gurunani.
The Make in Odisha will be attended by many top corporate heads like Kumar Mangalam Birla, L & T head A M Nayak, SBI chief Arundhati Bhattacharya, Adani Group head Goutam Adani. Simiallry, others like SANDISK President Sanju Mehotra, JSW chief Sajan Jindal, FMS India CEO Mark A Halfman, Hindustan Coca Cola CEO T Kishan Kumar, Videocon President Venugopal Dhut, ITC CEO Sanjeev Puri will also attend the conclave.
State government is preparing on a war front to make this project successful, sources said. In the meantime the state government has crafted an investment friendly environment by clearing eight policies.
Analysts say the executive council meeting of NASSCOM will benefit the state as it would boost a road map on enhancing restive businesses while open up new frontiers of investment. Notably with the city getting an international city status and with a tag of eastern silicon valley industries like IT, BPO will be looking forward to capitalise on this growing platform.
