New Delhi: Only few days after Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav floated the idea of grand alliance or ‘mahagathbandhan’, on Wednesday Congress poll strategist Prashant Kishore held a two hour meeting with Mulayam. The meeting may have political consequences and some even hinted at speculations ofa possible alliance between SP and Congress ahead of the assembly election in UP next year.
Earlier JDU leader KC Tyagi and Shivpal Yadav too met Kishore.
Last week, Mulayam’s younger brother and state SP chief Shivpal Singh Yadav met Tyagi and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD chief Ajit Singh. He also invited to them for the party’s 25th anniversary in Lucknow on November 5.
Notably, Uttar Pradesh’s biggest political clan was in the news for their family feud.
