Sambalpur: A stationary coal-laden freight train on Tuesday caught fire at Bamra railway station in the district in Odisha, railway officials said.
The Rourkela-bound train was coming from Jharsuguda and people spotted the fire when the train was stationed at Platform no 3 in the station.
Fire tenders rushed to the spot immediately and doused the flames. However, no casualties were reported, the officials informed.
Meanwhile, the incident has not affected the railway operations in the route, said an official.
