Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh (UP) New Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath on today (Thursday) took everyone by surprise when he paid a visit to the Hazratganz Police Station in Lucknow to for inspect basic operations and said a crime-free state will be established with the rule of law.
The Policemen and officials were caught by surprise when Yogi, who had kept the Home portfolio with himself arrived at the spot and inspected around the premises today morning.
This is the first audit, not the last,” said the Chief Minister, adding that his visit was also to “boost the morale of our cops so that the law prevails.”
Moreover, his five-day old government has started shutting down unlawful slaughterhouses and enhanced the police patrolling for public areas such as colleges and malls to nab young men harassing women. The “Anti-Romeo Squads” have been ordered by the Chief Minister to target genuine offenders.
