New Delhi: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who is in the National capital on a five day visit will be meeting party MPs on Monday. As per sources, Naveen will be discussing party unity matters in the meeting.
Naveen reached New Delhi on Friday for an inter state meeting of the Security Council under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha member from BJD Tathagat Satpathy today paid a visit to the Odisha Chief Minister at his Delhi residence.
The Monday meeting is considered crucial in a time when there has been much discussion on changing loyalties of certain BJD MPs towards BJP. Recently, Satpathy had tweeted that BJP is trying to split BJD and ever since there have been remarks added to the speculation by party MP Baijayant Panda and also BJP ministers like Jual Oram. However, Naveen had rejected the BJP minister’s statements as ‘wishful thinking’.
