Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be on a five day New Delhi trip from Friday. As per sources, there is a possibility of a cabinet reshuffle after the CM returns from the trip.
Naveen will attend an inter state Security Council meeting from Friday that will be headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The CM is scheduled to return on April 11. Party insiders have revealed that post his return there might be a massive reshuffle in the portfolios of ministers in the cabinet.
On Thursday, after the review meeting of Panchayat polls with representatives of Balasore and Bhadrak, Naveen hinted at the possible change in cabinet. “We are looking into it. We will see what can be done,” he said in this context.
