Bhubaneswar: The prime accused in Bomikhal firing case, in which the manager of a shop was critically injured, surrendered before the police on Thursday night.
The main accused Bunty Jena alias Phula of Bomikhal was at large after the incident on July 20.
Earlier, Prashant Samantaray alias Bacchu and Bismaya Maharana alias Dipu were arrested by the Laxmisagar police from Sahid Nagar on August 27.
It may be mentioned here that on July 20 evening three motorcycle-borne miscreants had opened fire at Jana Seva Kendra manager Manoranjan Behera. The assailants fired two rounds at Behera following which he was rushed to a private hospital here. Sources said several criminal cases are pending against Bunty.
