Chhapra: In what could be termed as a bizarre incident, a 13-year-old girl in Bihar has alleged that 18 people, including her school principal, two teachers, and 15 students used to rape her for seven months.

The incident came to light after the victim narrated the ordeal before her father after he was released from jail and complained with police.

Ekma police station in Chhapra’s Parsagarh has registered a case based on the girl’s statement taken at a women’s police station.

While the principal and a teacher were arrested on Friday. Two students of the school have been detained. The police said they are on the lookout for the others who have been named in her complaint.

She was taken to a hospital for medical examination. A medical board was formed for further investigation.

The girl has mentioned in the police complaint that she was blackmailed and gang-raped by the accused ever since her father went to jail in December last year.

She was first raped and blackmailed by a classmate in December. In the days and weeks that followed, other students, the principal and two teachers allegedly raped her, the complaint read.

The blackmailing continued and the number of people who raped her went up to 18, according to the complaint.

The girl said her ordeal continued for seven months till her father was released from jail. She approached the police with a complaint against the principal, teachers and her schoolmates.
