Bhubaneswar: Obeying the directions of the State Government, violence-hit Bhadrak district administration will submit its preliminary assessment report tomorrow on damages caused during the unrest witnessed in the town following posting of some objectionable posts on the social media.
According to reports, 25 out of 30 Wards of Bhadark Municipality have been affected by the communal violence.
Seven teams headed by district Collector Gyanaranjan Das have been engaged to assess the damage.
With relaxation of curfew during day time for the last several days, the violence-hit Bhadrak town in Odisha is gradually regaining normalcy.
Police have so far arrested over 170 persons, including Subhankar Mohapatra alias Kalia, councillor of ward no.15 of Bhadrak Municipality, in connection with the violence in the town.
