Asian Games: Bridge Men’s pair bag gold
Jakarta: In the Bridge Men’s pair event, India represented by Pranab Bardhan and Shibnath Dey Sarkar have bagged gold on day 14 of the 18th Asian Games, here on Saturday. The duo won gold with 384 score point on the board.
With this, the Men’s pair has earned India’s 15th Gold at the Asian Games. India equaled their best gold medal tally at the Asian Games with the 15th gold medal. The last time this happened was in 1951, the first edition of Asian Games. This is the best performance of India in The Asian games since its inauguration in 1951.
Till now India has won 15 gold, 23 silver and 29 bronze medals in Asian Games 2018.
