Rourkela: Panic evolves in Sundergarh’s Bisra following the death of two persons affected by Anthrax in the recent past. Other five persons gripped by Anthrax are under treatment in the Rourkela Government Hospital while four are admitted at Bisra Health center.
A team of doctors today visited Birikeri village and collected blood samples of the local residents to ascertain the reason of Anthrax spreading.
The disease showed symptoms by skin itches and boils appeared gradually growing in size. The Anthrax-affected villagers had consumed a dead cattle’s meat which led to transmit the disease bacteria into their bodies.
Reportedly, Sundergarh’s CDMO has directed a team of doctors to treat the patients with higher antibiotics and draw their blood samples for clinical tests.
