Mumbai: Salman Khan’s forthcoming production venture, Loveratri, has landed with some legal troubles as Bihar’s Muzzafarpur Court has ordered to file an FIR against the actor and seven other actors associated with the film for allegedly harming the communal harmony.
The order was issued after Sudhir Ojha, a Bihar-based lawyer filed a complaint against the Sultan actor for denigrating the Hindu festival of Navratri by allegedly misusing it in the film’s title. He also accused the actor of promoting vulgarity through his film.
Shailendra Rai, Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate of Muzaffarpur, after hearing the complaint directed the Meethanpur police in Muzaffarpur to lodge a complaint against the accused persons.
The flick Loveratri helmed by Abhiraj Minawal, features Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and newcomer Warina Hussain in the lead roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on October 5.
