Jakarta: Indian sprinter Dutee Chand won her second medal of the Asian Games 2018 as she finished with silver in the women’s 200m race 200m final here on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated Dutee Chand for her stellar performance in the 18th Asian Games.
She clocked the silver with the timing of 23.20. Bahrain’s Efidong Odiong with 22.96 won gold. This is Dutee’s personal best performance. Dutee was in the position throughout the race but gave her best in the last 50mt and won the silver.
Interestingly, same three sprinters had finished first, second and third in the 100m event as well.
