4th Test: England bowled out for 271; 245 target for India
Southampton: Indian cricket team showed an outstanding bowling performance and bundled out England for 271 in their second innings on the fourth day of test match on Sunday.
England team with 271 runs in their second innings has set a target of 245 for India to chase and win the fourth Test match.
Mohammed Shami made a breakthrough on the very first ball when he dismissed Stuart Broad. He showed an excellent performance and picked four wickets.
With two days in hand, India have a huge chance to win the Test and stay alive in the series, in which they are trailing 1-2 at the moment.
The England team made some changes in the team when Alastair Cook failed in the second innings. Later, he was replaced at the crease by Moeen Ali, who last week scored a double century for Worcestershire against Yorkshire.
Indian team who came to crease for batting suffered early blow when KL Rahul was clean bowled by Stuart Broad. James Anderson then removed Cheteshwar Pujara and Shikhar Dhawan to reduce India to 22/3 in 8.3 overs.
Ajinkya Rahane and captain Virat Kohli joined forces to take India to 46/3 at lunch, still requiring another 199 runs to beat England and level the five-match series. The duo also survived a couple of close calls, thanks to the Decision Review System.
