+3 admissions 2017: DHE to declare second selection list on July 8

Bhubaneswar: The Department of Higher Education (DHE) has decided to release the second selection list for degree +3 admissions on July 8 instead of July 7.

Earlier, the DHE has notified to release the second selection list of +3 admissions on June 7 but however it has rescheduled to release it a day later.

With the implementation of e-admission procedure for +3 and +2 admission in the state, DHE has not only simplified the process but has also made the system student friendly.

The +3 1st selection list was released on June 29 and the first round of seat allotment was conducted from June 30 to July 3.

‘Intimation letter to the selected applicants was transmitted through five modes (i) SMS (if mobile number is provided in CAF) (ii) Email (if e-mail ID is provided in CAF) (iii) Website www.dheodisha.gov.in) (iv) College Notice Board (Applied College & Selected College) (v) Toll Free Number (155335 OR 1800-345-6770). Intimation will not be sent through post.’

A total of 234893 students applied for different streams out of which 157188 have been selected to take admission in first phase, as per sources.
