2 out of 3 techies were rescued while getting drowned in Puri sea

Puri: In a tragic incident, the Puri sea beach has turned to be a nightmare for some techie students who went there to take bath in the sea today. While 2 of them were rescued later in a critical condition, 1 was feared drowned.

According to reports, 8 students of a private engineering college, Aviation Institute in Bhubaneswar visited Puri on Friday night. While taking bath in the sea near Digabareni Chhak today early morning, 3 students were dragged into the sea by a huge tide following which the lifeguards at the beach rescued 2 of them.

The 3 students were identified as Rahul Sharma (24) from Delhi, Harpach Tiwari (24) from Rajasthan and Rahul Arora (22) from Jaipur. Out of afore mentioned 3 students, Sharma and Tiwari were rescued while Arora is still missing.

Sharma has been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital after the preliminary treatment at Puri hospital.

Meanwhile, Puri sea beach police have registered a case of unnatural death.
