Ramban: As many as 15 persons were killed while 17 others sustained injuries after a mini bus, in which they were travelling fell into a 200-feet deep gorge at Kela Morh near Maroof in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
As per available information, the injured persons have been airlifted to the hospital in Jammu.
According to sources, the incident occurred when the mini bus was en route to Ramban from Banihal in the morning. The driver of the bus lost control over the wheels at Kela Morh and fell into the 200 feet deep gorge.
On being informed, police reached the accident spot and carried out the rescue operation with the help of locals.
While all the bodies have been retrieved from the accident site, the injured have been airlifted to Jammu. Among the 17 injured, health condition of 10 persons is critical, an official informed.
