Bhubaneswar: Odisha after being chosen as the next stop for BJP’s ‘Mission 2019’, 11 Union Ministers and 10 MPs will visit the State acting on party’s game-plan ahead of its National Executive Meet to extend the saffron surge before April 14, 15 meeting to be held in Bhubaneswar.
High on party’s agenda to mark a setback for the ruling BJD, these Lotus delegates will visit 21 legislative constituencies within the state to hold public meetings and would make the people aware of several developmental drives and welfare schemes launched under the leadership of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi.
The team of Union Ministers and parliamentarians has plans to campaign for the party’s National Executive meet by conducting road shows. It also seeks to meet with senior intellectuals, litterateurs and journalists around Odisha.
However, the BJP’s National Executive Meet on 15, 16 April is likely to be attended by, PM Modi, BJP National Chief Amit Shah, 13 Chief Ministers of BJP-ruling states and 325 leaders While PM Modi is on a 2-day trip, Amit Shah will stay here for 3 days.
“The attendees of the meet include Union Ministers- Suresh Prabhu, Kalraj Mishra, Kripal Yadav, Rajib Rudy, Giriraj Singh, Arjul Meghwal, Rajan Gohen, Fagan Singh, Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan”, said BJP State Secretary Kalandi Samal.
